Abstract: Biological screening is an important part in the herbicidal invention. The advances in the herbicide biological screening, including the novel screening method—high-throughput screening, are mainly reviewed by the authors. A comment to the insufficiency of herbicide screening in China is also given, and the strategies for improvement is suggested.
