Abstract:
With the wide application of cultivation techniques, likestraw returning, wheat sharp eyespot, which is caused mainly by
Rhizoctonia cerealis, is becoming more and more serious, which is a great threat to the high and stable yield of wheat. Due to the lack of immunity and high resistance varieties, the chemical control of the wheat sharp eyespot has been acchievd by the combination of sowing seed dressing and spring spraying. In this review, the recent research progresses of the current occurrence of wheat sharp eyespot and its control agents were summarized, including the virulence of triazoles fungicides against wheat sharp eyespot, sensitivity monitoring, the resistance status and mechanism of
R. cerealis to triazoles fungicides, the safety of triazole fungicides to wheat, and the application of jinggangmycin, tolclofos-methyl and other fungicides in the integrated control of wheat sharp eyespot. The outlook for the development of chemical control methods against wheat sharp eyespot was pointed out: the combination of biocontrol and chemical agents to achieve synergistic prevention and integrated control.
