Abstract:
The research progress on the separation, structure identification of sex pheromone of
Spodoptera littoralis (Boisduval) was reviewed, and the chemical synthetic methods of (9
Z,11
E)-9,11-tetradecadien-1-ol acetate, a major component of the pheromone were also summarized according to the construction of the double bond including reduction of alkyne,
Z-selective cross metathesis of olefin, Wittig reaction and (
Z)-1-vinyl cuprate. Furthermore, the advance of biological activity and the application of the sex pheromone was introduced, and the prospects and trends in this field were prospected.
