Abstract:
Quinclorac is a typical herbicides applied to control barnyard grass in paddy fields. However, the refractory biodegradation of quinclorac as well as its phytotoxicity on sensitive crops causes urgently necessity to carry out the research on its residue status and control strategies. Herein, the residual status of quinclorac in soil, crops and waters are reviewed. The mechanisms and approaches of remediation technologies on quinclorac such as microbial degradation, antidote remediation, adsorption method, and advanced oxidation technology are analyzed. The developments of quinclorac remediation technology in the future are also discussed. It is expected to provide references for the quinclorac decontamination and environmental remediation.
