Advances in Research on Glyphosate-resistant Weeds and their Mechanisms

The occurrence and development of 13 glyphosate-resistant weeds reported all over the world were described.The resistant mechanisms focused on the uptake,translocation and distribution of glyphosate,the target enzyme of the herbicide—5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EPSPS),the inheritance of glyphosate-resistant weed were discussed.The potential risk of glyphosate resistant weeds in China was brought forward,and potential strategy for delaying the occurrence of glyphosate-resistant weeds was posed.
