Synthesis and Insecticidal Activity of Benzoylphenylurea Derivatives

A cleaner approach to 2-amino-5-aryl-1,3,4-oxadiazoles,a series of benzoylphenylurea intermediates were developed and optimized by using HBr-H2O2 system as an alternative to molecular bromine.Eighteen novel benzoylphenylurea compounds were synthesized starting from 2-amino-5-aryl-1,3,4-oxadiazoles,and were identified by 1H NMR,HRMS and IR spectra.However,no remarkable insecticidal activity was observed during bioassay.
