Abstract: Cultivating plant cells in vitro have many advantages and it has a vast prospect capitalizing on this technology in production of plant insecticidal chemicals. Recent research on cultivating plant insecticidal chemicals in vitro was introduced as well as several technologies of metabolic regulation. Advances in biotechnology, particularly methods for cultivating plant cells and tissues, should provide possibility in producing industrially insecticidal chemicals by the method for cultivating plant cells.
