Abstract: This paper systematically reviewed the research progress on risk assessment methods of pesticide residues in Chinese medicinal materials (CMMs), aiming to support the establishment of limit standards and regulatory frameworks. The selection and application of relevant parameters were highlighted, with a focus on cumulative risk assessment for multiple pesticide residues in CMMs. Based on the current landscape of risk assessment in CMMs, this paper provides recommendations to improve the methodology and offers insights into its further development.
