江苏省水稻田硬稃稗种群对噁唑酰草胺的抗药性

    Metamifop resistance of Echinochloa glabrescens populations collected from rice fields in Jiangsu Province, China

    • 摘要: 硬稃稗对江苏水稻田危害严重,噁唑酰草胺是水稻田稗属杂草茎叶处理防除的重要除草剂。本研究以2022年从江苏省13个地区采集的114个水稻田硬稃稗种群为试材,测定硬稃稗对噁唑酰草胺的抗性。结果表明,噁唑酰草胺在推荐剂量(120 g a.i./hm2)下,对3~5叶期硬稃稗施药后28 d的鲜重抑制率为21.7%~100%,平均为91.8%;使硬稃稗鲜重降低50%的剂量(GR50)为4.4~268.3 g a.i./hm2;硬稃稗对噁唑酰草胺的敏感基线为37.8 g a.i./hm2。114个供试硬稃稗种群中,敏感、低抗、中抗和高抗硬稃稗种群占比分别为7.0%、45.6%、27.2%和20.2%,其中南通市和镇江市的硬稃稗对噁唑酰草胺抗性水平显著高于其他11个市。噁唑酰草胺作为水稻田,尤其是直播稻田,稗属杂草防控的重要药剂,已经面临严峻的抗药性问题,研究结果可为预测噁唑酰草胺在水稻除草剂的市场寿命及区域尺度上调整其推广使用策略提供理论依据。

       

      Abstract: Echinochloa glabrescens is one of the most problematic rice weeds in Jiangsu Province, China. metamifop is a crucial post-emergence rice herbicide used to control Echinochloa weeds. In this study, we evaluated the resistance levels of 114 E. glabrescens populations collected from rice fields across Jiangsu in 2022 against metamifop. The results showed that at 28 days after treatment of seedlings at the 3-5 leaf stage, the recommended dose of metamifop (120 g a.i./hm2) reduced the fresh weight of these populations by 21.7%-100%, with an average of 91.8%. The dose of metamifop causing a 50% reduction in fresh weight (GR50) ranged from 4.4-268.3 g a.i./hm2. The baseline sensitivity of metamifop to E. glabrescens was determined to be 37.8 g a.i./hm2. Among the tested populations, 7.0%, 45.6%, 27.2%, and 20.2% were sensitive, low resistant, moderate resistant, and high resistant to metamifop, respectively. Notably, populations collected from Nantong and Zhenjiang cities exhibited significantly higher resistance levels to metamifop than those collected from the other 11 cities. These findings suggested that while metamifop is an important rice herbicide for managing Echinochloa weeds, it faces severe challenges due to resistant populations, particularly in direct-seeded rice fields. Our results provide a theoretical basis for predicting the market lifespan of metamifop as a rice herbicide and for adjusting its promotion strategy at a regional scale.
