Abstract: The qualitative and quantitative analysis of novel insecticide tetrachloroethyl phosphate by GC and GC-MS were described. According to the results of GC-MS, O-methyl-O-chloromethyl-O-1,1,1,2- tetrachloroethyl phosphate was suggested to be the main impurity.
