Abstract:
Polyoxyethylene tallow amine (POE-tallowamine) is widely used as pesticide adjuvant in commercial glyphosate formulations in the world. It has been reported that POE-tallowamine was more toxic than the active ingredient (glyphosate), raising concerns around the world. In this paper, the chemical structure, toxicities, the distribution in the environment and analytical methods of POE-tallowamine were reviewed to provide scientific evidence for the further research, the normative application and the management of POE-tallowamine in our country.
