    Selection and Effects of Different Bentonite as Thickening Agent of Seed Coating Formulation

    • 摘要: 通过对不同来源 10种膨润土膨胀效果、悬浮作用等性能指标的测定 ,筛选出符合种衣剂剂型要求的几种膨润土 ,对其在种衣剂中的用量、作用效果及与助剂 XG的协同悬浮作用进行研究。结果表明 ,0 .5%的 4 #、5#膨润土 ,0 .1%的 6 #膨润土配合 XG添加在种衣剂中 ,可以明显改善种衣剂的悬浮性。根据膨润土增稠、触变能力的不同建议不同配方有针对性地选用膨润土。

       

      Abstract: Ten types of bentonite from different sources were tried in seed coating formulation. Based on the study of swelling effect, suspension stability and other properties some types of bentonite were selected. The dosage, effects and suspension stability of bentonite cooperated with XG were also studied. The results showed that bentonite 4#, 5# improved suspension stability of the systems at the dosage of 0.5%.Bentonite 6# at the dosage of 0.1% gave the same result. It was suggested that proper bentonite can be selected in different formulations according to its thickening and thixotropic ability.
