Abstract:
The feasibility of removing the residues of organochlorine pesticides from Ginseng extract with sub-critical propane extraction was explores. Factors, such as extraction pressure, extraction temperature, extraction time, and flux of the solvent were investigated. The ginsenosides in Ginseng extract was quantified by high-performance liquid chromatography. When the extraction time is 120 min,the extraction pressure is 8 MPa,the extraction temperature is about 65℃,and the flux of solvent is 2.94 kg/h,γ-HCH,op-DDT can be almost all removed and TCNB,pp-DDT and DDE can be isolated up to more than 60%,while the loss ratio of the Ginsenoside is less than 6.53%.The study offers a new approach for effectively exclusion organochlorine pesticide residues from Ginseng extract.
