Abstract
In order to evaluate the ecological risk of herbicide ipfencarbazone in soil environments, the degradation characteristic of ipfencarbazone was studied using indoor simulation method in three typical soil types, including black soil from Jiling Province, red soil from Jiangxi Province and paddy soil from Anhui Province. The results showed that the degradation of ipfencarbazone in three different soils conformed to the first kinetic equation. The half-lives of ipfencarbazone were 86.5, 106 and 91.4 d in black soil, red soil and paddy soil, respectively, under aerobic condition. While the half-lives were 106, 130 and 127 d, respectively, under anaerobic conditions. And the half-lives were 162, 219 and 188 d, respectively, under anaerobic conditions in paddy fields. Research showed that the degradation rate of ipfencarbazone under anaerobic conditions in paddy fields was obviously slower than other two test conditions.
