Research progress on carboxamide fungicides targeting succinate dehydrogenase

    • Up to now, a total of 23 succinate dehydrogenase inhibitors (SDHIs) fungicides have been on the market, which could be used to overcome the resistance of strobilurin fungicides, and its compound annual growth rate of sales was the fastest among fungicides. SDHIs fungicides were also the most active fungicides developed in recent years. In this review, the development of SDHIs fungicides and the mode of action were introduced. In addition, the structure-activity relationship and the resistance of SDHIs were summarized. Meanwhile, some products with great significances were also reviewed in detail. Finally, the development trend of SDHIs fungicides was prospected.
