Research progress on degradation of pesticides by white rot fungi

    • White rot fungi are a kind of saprophytic filamentous fungi. Non-specific extracellular oxidase secreted by white rot fungi can degrade many refractory organic pesticides with different structures and high toxicity. Herein, the degradation effects of white rot fungi on organochlorine, organophosphorus, carbamate and pyrethroid pesticides, and the degradation pathways of some pesticides were reviewed. The influencing factors of pesticides degradation by white rot fungi were analyzed and the application prospect of white rot fungi was prospected.
