    Research progress of construction and application of sustained and controlled release systems of avermectin

    • The use of advanced functional materials and preparation techniques to improve pesticide formulations, increase pesticide stability, and regulate pesticide release can increase the effective utilization of pesticides. As a broad-spectrum and high-efficiency antibiotic insecticidal and acaricidal biopesticide, avermectin is widely used in agriculture, animal husbandry and hygiene. However, it tends to decompose under ultraviolet light and by contact microorganisms, which affects the efficacy of avermectin. Choosing suitable carrier materials and optimizing the preparation process can not only solve the stability problem of avermectin, but also improve its application performance. This article reviews the construction and application research progress of different sustained and controlled release systems of avermectin. It describes the carrier materials, preparation technologies, release characteristics, photostability and other properties, also analyzes the existing problems in the current research and the future research direction.
