Design, synthesis and insecticidal activity of strobilurin compounds containing pyrazole-4-carboxamide

To discovery novel pesticidal compounds, 16 new compounds were designed and synthesized by combining several active sub-structures of miticidal strobilurins and fungicidal pyrazole carboxamides. Their structures were determined by ¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR and HRMS. The biological activity assay results showed that all target compounds had poor miticidal and fungicidal activities, however, some target compounds had good insecticidal activities. The mortalities against Mythimna separata of 8 compounds were 100% at 500 mg/L.
