Abstract
Succinate dehydrogenase inhibitors (SDHIs) are the third largest class of fungicides. Because of their broad-spectrum bactericidal properties, they are widely used to control various types of plant fungi. At present, there were 8 SDHIs with chiral characters, which show enantioselectivity in many aspects. Therefore, this paper focused on these pesticides, including their enantioselective separation and analytical methodology, biological activity, environmental fate and ecological toxicity. This manuscript provides a theoretical basis for the subsequent research on the development and application of chiral SDHIs as efficient green monomers and provides scientific guidance on the safe and reasonable application of chiral SDHIs in the process of agricultural production.
