The design of pesticide formulations serves as the core link for translating pesticide prodrugs into practical applications. Driven by environmental protection and pesticide reduction policies, its development is shifting toward green, safe, efficient, and refinement. Traditional pesticide formulation design largely relies on accumulated experience and trial-and-error experimentation, whereas Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, with its capabilities in data modeling and intelligent optimization, has become crucial for breaking through industrial bottlenecks. This paper systematically reviews the cutting-edge applications of AI technology in pesticide formulation research and development, covering core scenarios such as intelligent formula design, automated production process control, precision pesticide application decision-making, and environmental risk assessment. It also analyzes their technical pathways and practical effectiveness through typical cases, providing theoretical and technical references for the intelligent research and development of pesticide formulations and sustainable agricultural practices
