-
Abstract
Regulation of banned and restricted pesticides is a vital measure in protecting food safety and environmental integrity. In this article, the strategies and divergences on pesticide risk management in different countries and international organizations were systematically introduced. By comparing and analyzing the policies and lists of banned and restricted pesticides in China with those of the European Union, the United States, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and Australia, this study reveals the similarities and divergences in global pesticide governance. The findings offer the reference for improving China’s pesticide regulatory framework, ensuring the quality safety of agricultural products, and addressing international trade barriers.
