Abstract
In order to develop efficient lures for Leguminivora glycinivorella in China, the field attractiveness of multi-component formulations of synthetic compounds to L.glycinivorella male adults was systematically evaluated. The results showed that the attractive activities of ternary, quaternary, and multi-component formulations of E8,E10-12:Ac and E10-12:Ac, E8-12:OH, E8,E10-12:Ald, E8-12:Ald, 14:Ac, or Z9-14:Ac in certain ratios were superior to that of the standard pheromone lures. And the attractive activity of quaternary-component formulations of E8,E10-12:Ac, E10-12:Ac, E8-12:OH and E8,E10-12:Ald to L.glycinivorella male adults was significantly higher than that of the standard pheromone lures, suggesting it could be used as a novel pheromone mixture to monitor or control L.glycinivorella population in China.
