Sensitivity of Colletotrichum spp. from strawberry toprochloraz in Hubei Province of China

Anthracnose of strawberry caused by Colletotrichum spp. in the nursery is a global important disease. One hundred and three isolates of Colletotrichum spp. were isolated from diseased strawberry plants collected from 17 different areas in Hubei Province, China. Sensitivity of these isolates to prochloraz was determined by mycelium growth rate method. The results indicated that the EC50 values of 103 isolates ranged from 0.014 2 to 0.215 6 μg/mL, with an average value of (0.093 8±0.029 9) μg/mL. The sensitivity of 103 isolates to prochloraz showed a normal distribution, which suggested the average EC50 value could be used as a reference of sensitivity baseline for Colletotrichum spp. from strawberry to prochloraz in Hubei Province of China.
