Advances in the research and application prospect of fluorine sex-pheromone

Replacement of hydrogen atom by fluorine can affect the characters of chemical, biological, and physical property of sex-pheromone. Fluorine substitution occurs at alkyl chain, double-bond and polar-group. Fluorined-sex pheromone have shown a large variety of effects, accordingly have been called synergists, agonists, antagonists, inhibitors etc and may have great application prospect in integrated control and pest forecast. The research progress of fluorine sex- pheromone was summarized and the prospect was also included.
