Research dynamics on the diamides insecticides by bibliometric approach

Research dynamics on the diamides insecticides from CNKI and Web of ScienceTM databases was analyzed by bibliometric approach both in China and abroad. The numbers of published articles about diamides insecticides and the citation of the involving countries, authors, institutions, journals and research topics were evaluated. The results showed that, by using CNKI, 310 related articles in 104 journals were found, which were written by 921 authors from 362 institutes in China. And the data from the Web of ScienceTM provided the information of 364 related articles in 105 journals written by 987 authors from 33 countries, including China, USA, India, Japan and etc. The research topics of diamides insecticides involve the synthesis, the analysis, the biological effects, the relating ecological and environmental impact, and etc. The research status and trends including hotspots of diamides insecticides research both in China and abroad were discussed and summarized.
