    EXPRESSION REGULATION OF CYTOCHROME P450 GENES AND THE MOLECULAR BASIS OF P450 MONOOXYGENASE MEDIATED INSECTICIDE RESISTANCE IN INSECT

    • This paper summarized the current knowledge of expression and regulation mechanism of cytochrome P450 genes and the understanding of the molecular basis of P450 monooxygenase mediated insecticide resistance in insects. P450 genes show age, tissue, strain specific and inducible expression. The insect P450 gene is under complex regulation. The over expression and amino acid substitutions of P450s in resistant individuals may be involved in P450 monooxygenas mediated insecticide resistance.
