Synthesis of 6-Alkylthio-12H-Chlorosubstituted Dibenzo-d,g1,3,2-Dioxaphosphocin-6-Sulfides

Three new triethylamine salts of 6-mercapto-12H-chlorosubstituted dibenzo d,g 1,3,2- dioxaphosphocin-6-sulfides 3 were prepared by the cyclic reaction of bis(2-hydroxy chlorophenyl) methane 2 with P4P10in the presence of triethyl amine. A series of novel compounds of 6-alkylthio-12H-chlorosubstituted dibenzo d,g 1,3,2-dioxaphosphocin-6-sulfides 4 were synthesized in good yields for the first time from 3 and alkyl halides. 31P and31H NMR spectra of 4 were reported and discussed. 4 show good fungistatic activities against Pseudoperonospora cubensis in preliminary bioassays
