Effects of Five Fungicides on the Virulence and Germinated Structure of the Teliospore of Tilletia foetida

This study reported the inhibition and toxicity of Vitavax 200,carbendazim,diniconazole,tebuconazole and triadimefon on the teliospore germination of Tilletia foetida,and the morphological changes of the germinated spores.The above 5 fungicides showed slight to strong inhibition on the teliospore germination of the pathogen. Their EC50 to Tilletia foetida were 1.6102,0.3038,4.4892,1.6103 and 0.3896 μg·mL-1,respectively.Carbendazim was the strongest inhibitor to the pathogen among the 5 fungicides. By microscope and SEM, the results showed the pathogen spore germinated in 3 kinds of malformed shape, its normal developing inhibited under the action of the fungicides.
