Activity of Tolclofos-methyl Inhibiting Fungi and Bacteria of Plant Pathogen

In vitro activity (EC50 ) of tolclofos-methyl to against 28 fungi and bacteria of plant most species of pathogen was tested by measuring the diameter of colony on plates. Tolclofos- methyl was effective to Z-ygomycetes,Ascomycetes Basidiomycetes and Deuteromycetes . Tolclofos- methyl showed a strong fungicidal activity against Rhizoctonia, Sclerotinia, Sclerotium, Botrytis, Macrophoma,Penicillium and Phomopsis . Fungitoxicity of tolclofos-methyl to Alternaria, Colletotrichum, Rhizopus and Fusarium graminearum was remarkable at lower concentrations
