Progressing on Botanical Insecticide neem Research

The trend of the research work is briefly reviewed on botanical insecticide neem. Molecular structure response relationship of azadirachtin is one of the most active research area. The commercialization of neem formulations was a strong promotion to bring it into practical application in pest insect control. Several neem formulations have been marketed world wide and approved of using in more and more countries. The research of application technology of neem formulations is reviewed and it is suggested that due to the mode of action and toxicology of botanical insecticides are different from conventional insecticides, research and development of application technology of botanical insecticides is necessary and very important.
