Excellent results were obtained on the control of rice blast with the sulphur-t ricyclazole (7: 1)
mixed suspension consent rate in the preliminary experimants in field plots and in extensive applicat ion . The high control efficacy was shown to be due to the inhibition effects of spore formation, germinition, appresoria fo rmation and hyphae growth. The joint synergetic ratios (S R ) were 2. 1, 2. 5, 1. 8 and 8. 6, respectively. It showed that the control efficacy was greatly increased by the mixture of the 2 chemicals . Because the mix-ture combined together the strong points of both sulphur and the tricyclazole, it was highly dispersified , sus-pensive, adherent and leaching-resistant , and thus possessed a good residual performance.
