Preliminary Study on the Application of Na+ -K+ -ATPasein Adult Periplaneta americana as a Screening Target

A screening model for pesticides was set up with Na + K + -ATPase from the central nervous system of adult Periplaneta americana. The optimum reaction condition of Na + K + ATPase was 5～10 μg/mL for the optimal protein oncentration,pH7.4,temperature 30 ℃ and time 15 min.Some pyrethroids were tested for their inhibitory activity on Na + K + -ATPase,the results showed that the screening model with Na+ K+ ATPase is sensitive,repetitive,labor-saving and sample-saving.
