Studies on the Isolation and Characterization of Fungi for Degradation of Methyl Parathion

Three strains of Fungi(Hw 3,Hw 6,Hw 7) for degradation of methyl parathion were isolated from activated sludge at Huayang Pesticide Factory by using liquid enrichment culture, They are able to use methyl parathion as the carbon and energy for growth . We have studied on the effect of temperature & pH for degradation .The optical temperature is 28 ℃ and the optical pH is 7.0. Furthermore, the effect of concentration for degradation and co metabolism of three strains of fungi have been studied.
