Determination of the Forestry Herbicide Imazapyr Residues in Water, Soil and Weed Plant

A method for determining residues of the forestry herbicide imazapyr in water, soil and weed plant was founded by means of HPLC. The samples in soil and weed plant were extracted with methanol plus 0.1 mol/L NH4HCO3 water solution, but the sample in water was directly extracted by dichloromethane. The average recoveries for all fortified samples (0.01~5 mg/kg) were 86.9%~103.45%. The minimum detectable concentration of imazapyr was 0.05、0.1 mg/kg and 0.01 mg/L in soil, weed plant and water, respectively.
