The Synthesis and Biological Activities of New Benzalcohol Derivatives

In total, 21 benzalcohol derivatives have been synthesized via Green reaction, and their structures have been proved by 1H NMR and GC-MS. The bioassay results showed that some of the title compounds possessed a satisfactory activity. BCT-5 showed 85% inhibitory effect on PDA plate of Sphaerotheca fuliginea (Sf) in vivo at 125 mg/L. BCT-2 showed 100% inhibitory effect on PDA plata of Xanthomonas oryzae (Xo) in vitro at 50 mg/L.
