Abstract
The method of residue analysis of a new synthesized fungicide 2-propenylphenol simulated the active structure in Gingko biloba L. and the degradation and final residue of 2-propenylphenol in tomato were studied. Residues of 2-propenylphenol were extracted from tomato with acetone, purified by liquid-liquid partition and Florisil, concentrated to a small volume, and then determined by HPLC with UV-detector. The minimum detectable amount of 2-propenylphenol was 3 ng, the minimum detectable concentration of 2-propenylphenol in the samples of tomato were 0.01 mg/kg. The average recoveries and coefficient of variation the method were 87.7%~90.2% and 1.25%~2.06% respectively. The degradation and final residue in tomato were determined with the method described above. The results showed that the half-life of 2-propenylphenol in tomato was 6.37 days, and 2-propenylphenol was degraded by 80% in tomato at the tomato harvest.
