Azamacrolides in Defensive Alkaloids from Ladybird Beetles
Chemical defence is one of the means by which insects protect themselves from predator. The structure, bioassay, biosynthesis of azamacrolides in defensive alkaloids from ladybird beetles is reviewed, and a vista of the future in this field is given.
