Biological Activity of Capsaicine and Its Joint Action with Other Pesticides

The results of laboratory and field experiments showed that capsaicine had excellent toxicity and control effect to Myzus persicae (Sulzer). Capsaicine mixed with abamectin and triazophos showed the obvious synergism. Co-toxicity coefficient was 185 when capsaicine and abamctin mixed with the proportion of 1∶2; Co-toxicity coefficient was 362 when capsaicine and triazophos mixed in the proportion of 1∶10. But cotoxicity coefficients were 42, 42, 71 when capsaicine mixed with beta-cypermethrin in the proportion of 1∶5, 1∶10, 1∶20,respectively. Antagonism was very obvious.
