Residue Dynamics of Superman EW in Citrus and Soil

A HPLC method was carried out to evaluate the degradation behavior and environmental security of Superman EW, the mixture of fenpyroximate and propargite, in citrus and soil. The results were as follows: 1) The half-lives of fenpyroximate in soil and citrus were 6.8 d and 10.6 d, respectively. 2) The half-lives of propargite in soil and citrus were 30.3 d and 13.4 d, respectively. 3) When Superman EW was applied in recommended dose, residues of the two effective components stated above were much lower than MRL,which ensured edilble safety of citrus.
