Activities of Butachlor and Oxyfluorfen and Their Co-synergistic Action to Weeds

The activities of butachlor and oxyfluorfen to Echinochloa crusgalli (L.) Beauv, Amaranthus spinosuo L. and Stellaria media (L.) Cyr. were studied. The results showed that the mixtures of butachlor and oxyfluorfen can improve the activities to weeds. The CTC of the mixture of 14∶1 were 164.0 and 288.5 to Echinochloa crusgalli (L.) Beauv and broadleaf weeds respectively. The results of field experiments showed that the mixture of the two herbicides could improve the control effect to weed, broaden the control spectrum significantly compared with the single herbicide. The rice yield also increased significantly with the application of the mixtures.
