Abstract
Chiral separation of hexaconazole enantiomers was realized by reversed phase HPLC with β-cyclodextrin as a mobile phase and normal phase HPLC with CDMPC as chiral stationary phase. With reversed phase HPLC, the effect of the content of β-CD, pH of mobile phase and organic modifier on the chiral separation was studied. And the effect of 2-propanol concentration on the retention and resolution of CDMPC was investigated also. The results show that excellent enantioseparation can be achieved for hexaconazole by these two methods under the optimal conditions.
