Abstract
It is a rapid and effective method that combines the stress of high-salt and rice regenera- tion to choose the prospective chemical reagents. By this way, the optimum concentration of isoprothiolane (20 mg/L) was screened out on the induced resistance of rice seedlings. Also a probe of a cDNA of rice lipoxygenases(RCI-1) was cloned. By means of Northern blotting, it was showed that isoprothiolane could promote or advance the expression of RCI-1 in rice seedlings under different stresses, such as high-salt, chilling and pathogen infection. Consequently, it was inferred that isoprothiolane could induce the stress resistance of rice and isoprothiolane was a chemical resistance inducer.
