Resistance of Weeds to Acetolactate Synthase Inhibitors

Acetolactate synthase (ALS) inhibitors are widely used as a herbicide, and the resistance of weeds come into being. ALS, ALS inhibitors, mechanism of resistance and the application of resistant genes were reviewed. The mechanism comprises the enhancement of the metabolizability, the decrease of activity in relation to ALS genic mutation, increase of ALS content etc..
