Abstract
Using Digitaria sanguinalis (L.) Scop, Echinochloa crus-galli (L.) Beauv. and Amaranthus retroflexus L. as indicator plants, an in vivo micro-screening method for the herbicidal activity was studied. Firstly, medium I was selected from six mediums, which was the most suitable one for growth of those indicator weeds. Secondly, 96-well plates test was conducted as an in vivo micro-screening method comparing with traditional pot experiment . The results showed that the most suitable evaluation index for 96-well plates test was the inhibition of plant height. The herbicidial activity with 96-well plates test was more sensitive than that of pot experiment. The EC50 and EC90 value of oxyfluorfen, pendimethalin and trifluralin to weeds by pot experiment were 1.44- to 21.47-folds and 1.47- to
