Synthesis and Herbicidal Activity of Novel 2-acetamides(Pesticide Research Institute, Zhejiang University of Technology, Hangzhou 310032, China)

Eight novel 1,2,4-triazolo pyrimidine derivatives were synthesized from aromatic amines or hetercyclic amines, chloroacetyl chloride and 2-mercapto-5,7-dimethyl-1,2,4-triazolo pyrimidine.The structures of all new compounds were confirmed by 1H NMR,IR and MS spectra .Preliminary bioassays indicated that 6 compounds showed excellent herbicidal activities,the inhibition rate was above 80% at 75 g a.i./hm2 against pre- or post-emergence of Echinochloa crusgalli,Amaranthus retroflexus,etc.
