Isolation and Identification of Soil Micro-organisms Capable of DegradingAldicarb and its Characteristics of Degradation

    • For exploring the degradation ability of aldicarb by microorganisms, two strains of bacteria capable of degrading aldicarb, named as TB26 and 100-8,were isolated from soil by enrichment culture method.TB26 and 100-8 were identified as Klebsiella sp. and Bacillus sp. respectively by biochemical-physiological identification and sequence analysis of the 16S rDNA.The optimum carbon source for growth of TB26 and 100-8 were maltobiose and D-fructose respectively, the optimum nitrogen source were peptone and urea for growth of TB26 and 100-8 respectively. Basic culture medium and culture medium without nitrogen source have different effects on the growth of bacteria and degrading effect. Additional nitrogen source can improve the degrading effect of strain 100-8.It was found that the strain TB26 has higher degrading effect in the culture without nitrogen source.
