Advances in Neonicotinoids and Investigation ofHeterocyclic-fused cis Derivatives

Neonicotinoids are the fourth major insecticides.They act on insect nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs).The structural features,modes of action and configuration of neonicotinoids and advanced research in recent five years were reviewed.Furthermore,our recent efforts in structural modification and diversification of heterocyclic-fused cis neonicotinoids derivatives were also summarized.
