Abstract
Five antibacterial compounds were isolated from the fermentation broth of endophytes in Celastrus angulatus (strain Hd3) through silica gel columns and HPLC by bioassay-guided fractionation. These chemicals were elucidated as 3'-chlorotrypacidin,asterric acid, methyl asterrate, methyl dichloroasterrate and methyl chloroasterrate by NMR and MS.The bioassay results showed that the inhibition rates of 5 compounds against spore germination of Curvularia lunata were 100%,67.6%,17.3%,29.1%,30.4% at the concentration of 500 mg/L, respectively;and 3'-chlorotrypacidin and asterric acid showed strong antibacterial activity on Bacillus subtilis.
