Advances of Research on Cyclodextrin and itsDerivatives Applied in Pesticides

Cyclodextrin and its derivatives have the special molecular structures with hydrophobic cavities and hydrophilic faces,which can form inclusion complexes with many guest molecules.The solubility,chemical stability,release rate of pesticide would be improved by cyclodextrin inclusion compounds,thus cyclodextrins have important value in pesticide formulation.In addition,the application of cyclodextrins is very helpful in the degradation of pesticide contamination and determination of pesticide residues due to their promotion of the contamination degradation and selective recognition.In this paper the newly progress of cyclodextrin and its derivatives applied in pesticide formulation as adjunct,pollutants reduction,detection of pesticide residues were reviewed,development trends and prospects for application in the future were also discussed.
