Abstract
In order to search for novel more effective and less toxic molluscicides, nine new diisopropyl phosphates ( 3a-3i ) were synthesized from substituted phenylacetonitriles by oximation and phosphorylation. The new compounds were confirmed by elemental analyses,IR,1H NMR and MS.Preliminary biological screening showed that compounds 3b and 3h appeared to have significant molluscicidal activity against Oncomelanis hwpensis snails. The LC50 value of the compounds 3b and 3h against snails were 0.50 mg/L and 0.35 mg/L,respectively.
